(Togo First) – In Togo, the municipality of Agoè-Nyivé 5 has just launched its official portal, accessible at www.agoenyive5.mairie.tg. The website will improve access to administrative services and centralize local information.

This online point of contact for the local authority should also facilitate continuous access for users to information about the municipality, its activities, and its officials. Residents can also download documents from the site, fill them out, and prepare their applications before submitting them in person.

According to Akoté Charles, in charge of the website launch, the platform addresses three objectives: facilitating access to information, strengthening transparency in local governance, and simplifying certain administrative procedures.

In parallel, the Sanguéra town hall has launched a citizen fundraising campaign. The operation aims to mobilize financial and material resources to support local projects. Several channels are available, including payments via Mixx by Yas, Moov Money, a postal account, and in-kind donations.

Mayor Gbenyo Kossi Lamadokou launched the fundraising campaign with a contribution of one million CFA francs.

The funds, it is stated, will be used primarily to acquire heavy equipment, including a grader, a hydraulic excavator, a grader, a loader, a bulldozer, and two dump trucks.

Created in 2017 as part of the decentralization process, the municipality of Agoè-Nyivé 5 was formed from the former canton of Sanguéra and is part of the Greater Lomé Autonomous District. It has approximately 130,000 inhabitants, spread over 28 km² and comprising 19 villages.
